NHED Announces 2026 Student Assessment Results

Highlighting gains and continued opportunities for growth

From 2024 to 2026, four school districts stood out with gains in both mathematics and reading and writing, showing a three-year improvement trend:

Wakefield School District: Nearly 14 percent improvement in reading and writing and 14 percent improvement in math.

“We are incredibly proud of our students’ progress. This growth reflects the consistent work happening in our classrooms, our focus on meeting the individual needs of students, the hard work of our students, and the dedication of our teachers and staff. It also demonstrates our commitment to using data to guide instruction and support student learning. We know that meaningful growth takes time, and we are committed to building on this progress and ensuring that every student has the support they need to succeed,” said Superintendent Donna Magoon of SAU 101.
